For the record, I've used Livingston Avenue Car Wash (half hour north of here) about ten times and it has low prices ($7.50 basic wash equivalent to what I got here) and similar wash tunnel and process and they have never left poo on my car and they never mangled my front plate.
Wash also failed to clean bird poo, but I would have forgiven that and chalked it up to them being a low quality place. (But I don't see why we customers should have to bring to the manager' attention at the end of the wash that the poo is still there (as the shop stated in earlier replies to reviews) because at the end of the wash it's super obvious to the two guys hand drying the car that the poo is still there and as professionals they should address it at that time.)
Nice gentleman at entrance of exterior wash tunnel. Wash inside tunnel seemed standard. Towel-dried by two nice guys and I tipped them a dollar.
Decent service. thought I paid for more than I got. The inside wasn't as clean as I have had before.
Was not greeted when I arrived, just awkwardly stared at by the men vacuuming (it was my first time and I had a question so I was waiting for help) until it was illegal for me to idle any longer so I shut off my engine. Then they impatiently waved me forward while I then tried to start my car and get back in gear.
Great if you need a quick car wash. Easy to find.
Car was a disaster, no wash in....years. Came out good. Guy was honest, I think, in saying the cheapest wash wouldn't do it, only upsold me a little (and I think it really needed the extra $5 of attention to get anywhere close to clean). I would recommend them.
I should never have tried to defy the bad reviews of this place à la "Oh, that will never happen to me." If you choose to come here despite the poor reviews (as I did, since I had a free wash coupon), take full photos of your car before the wash (AT THE LOCATION OF THE WASH) and then get out while they are towel drying at the end and carefully inspect your car like you're buying a used car or something. If you rush and take your chances and don't take these precautions, this place could end up being the most expensive wash you've ever gotten, even if you got it for free.
Overall good, but the 9 dollors quick wash doesn't clean the car throughly. Some dust and mark still left on the car.
Turns out I was a huge sucker! My front license plate had been horribly mangled (see photos that I added to this listing) by their machine and the two guys hand drying my car carefully never said a word seemingly crossing their fingers I would drive off not noticing it (because once I've driven off the property it's no longer their problem). Thanks a lot for that honorable move.
