Also, the ramen at this particular genji is fantastic. They're killing it!
I have been buying birthday cakes at this location for years. Today I picked up a cake for my daughter. The quality was incomparably worse, at the lower end of cakes found anywhere. Artificial tasting and topped with maraschino cherries. Not what I expect from whole foods, what happened to the organic options we used to find?
Very nice whole foods that can get extremely busy on the weekends or holidays. Its a gigantic store with tons of products. Salad/hot bar is OK, pizza is great, sushi is great, they have a genji noodle bar as well. My only complaint and the reason i gave 4 stars is that the store is TOO big. God forbid you forget something in produce and don't realize until you're in bakery as you'd better get your pedometer out to keep track of the calories burnt.
Nice lunch options. Both hot and cold. Would have liked to sample everything.
My daughter guessed it was because they were recently bought by Amazon, but for whatever reason the cake quality is in tailspin.
Ordered “cooked” whole turkey for thanksgiving and was told it is ready made. My understanding was that it’s freshly made and hot turkey. When I picked it up I found out it is cooked but frozen and I had to put in the oven for hours. Pure waste of $89 and horrible experience. Never again!
What I like the best from Whole Foods are their rolls/breads and variety of items. They not only have groceries, but also prepared foods, gelato, and a coffee/smoothie bar.
