GUESSIL WHAT TWO DAYS LATER I.WAS FOUND HALF. DEAD IN A BATH OF BLOOD HALF DEAD.
I WAS WANTED TO DIE LAST NOVEMBER AND THEY SAID SHE DENIED ME.
I am a 27 year old heroin addict struggling with heroin addiction for 12 years and with no privet insurence my detox options are limited. So after my release from Essex County Corrections last night i overdosed less than 3 hours after release. As part of the conditions of my release is ling term treatment at Integrity House and i called them this morning and was told they have immediate openings and i just needed a detox before admission. immediately called Princton House for detox and was told that since i have already been there 4 times this calender year that i was not allowed back. Never in my life have i had a place that claims to help people in need refuse to help me because im a drug addict and i keep relapsing. Princton house has givin up on me because ive been there to many times. i have never caused any disturbence while a patient there and until now actually really liked the facility but to turn away a drug addict who nearly died of an over dose less than 12 hours earlier blows my mind. and after being in and out of the rooms of aa/na since i was 16 i have always heard when everyone else might give up on you aa and facilities like Princton house will never give up on you. but apparenty Princton House will give up on you if you ask them for help more that 4 times in one calender year. They also basicly implied that since i was just released from jail that even if they where willing to help me that i would need to have a dirty urine. so maybe if i go shoot a buldle of heroin they would be willing to help (if i survive that shot). i just need to vent because i am a cronic relapser and even facilties ive been to 7 8 9 10 times i was never turned away if i said i really need help. So this is a first for me. Thank you princton house for turnig your back on me when i really need your help for my drug addiction and severe depresion. I just hope for my self and anyone else Princton House might do this too it doesnt cost them there life from and over dose.

This place has saved my life on more than one occasion. Good docs and staff. Would give 5 stars, but they placed me on the committed floor (on the non-committed side) without my consent twice and that was very difficult as it is all one unit. Staff is actually more attentive on that unit, but some of the other patients are hard to tolerate. Still I would go there again, should the need arise.
SHE DENIED ME YESTERDAY
After struggling with my daughter to get her in for her first day. They called me and asked me to come back and get her within 6 minutes of her first day because they did not have enough staff to work with her one on one and she was refusing to go into group counseling. They actually had no idea of how to handle her, she wasn't going for addiction but more for therapy from a recent traumatic experience. They also told me "I would have to pick her up because they could not get her in group counseling therefore it wasn't billable". Disgraceful, this is how they handle a child who is having a difficult time in life, no plan of action, no experience dealing with children with such issues, and lack of trained staff.
DR. MERCER I.HOPE. IT CAREER HETS DESTROYED
For some reason, the people that work here assume that if you're there for a mental health reason then you're a crazy person and they treat you like some sort of criminal. Poor mental health care.
