Active Core is a wonderful place to go for Pilates. Jamie is attentive to form, she challenges her clients, and does so with a sense of humor and fun. The sessions are very reasonably priced; the studio is also light, airy , and clean. I was looking around for a while before I found Active Core and now I wouldn't go anywhere else for pilates. I highly, highly recommend Active Core!
I've been going to Pilates at ActivCore for years and absolutely love it. The atmosphere is comfortable, low-key, and all about supporting your health. No weird competitive fitness vibes. I appreciate that Jamie is both a physical therapist and a trained Pilates instructor, because it means she really knows how to customize the exercises in ways that are right for the quirks of different bodies (easily strained necks, etc.) She's great about being flexible and making sure the sessions give you the workout you want. And she keeps it fun! Best spot for Pilates in town.
