Great parks. Lots of trails. I’m not sure if they’re really well mapped out but the scenery is beautiful.
This is a really nice family excursion. Besides the battlefield itself, there is a colonial house with a small museum of period furniture and crafts. The tree that General Mercer died under survived until about 2005. The current tree is from an acorn of that tree.
Fun place to visit. Lot of historical things to see and the museum is pretty cool too.
Big, open field. Often not to crowded. Clean and well maintained. Whether you go there for the history, to hike the trails, or to just enjoy a picnic you will not be disappointed.
An essential part of history. Easy access, street and on-site parking by the Clarke House.
