The manager finally reacted to my complaint which I also made directly to the restaurant. We might give it another try sometime.
Update 11/7/17 - I have gone a few times since my last visit. Food is amazing and steaks are always 10/10. If you go on a off weekend the wait is minimal, expect waits even for reservations on holidays. Fav Meal: Bone- In Ribeye medium rare, defs ask for the blue cheese crust
If you want the perfect cooked steak, don't go to this location! We ordered 3 steaks, not one came out right. Even after sending it back, the new steaks came out wrong. In a steak house, where a steak costs 60$ an more, this is not supposed to happen. You won't even get a free desert or something like this to make up for their mistake (like they do in other restaurants to keep customers satisfied). They simply don't care and don't even respond to complaints. This not only happened once, it happened to a lot of our acquaintances and friends in the past 6 month as well. Save your money and go somewhere else!
Update 12/25/17- yeah don’t make reservations on Christmas. We had a 7 PM reservation and still waiting for the past hour to be sat, don’t over book Ruth Chris- it is bad business and ethic. Update a few hours later, they also did not have the steak I wanted (sold out), the desert I wanted (sold out), and they took 1 hour and 30 minutes to sit us down past our reservations. Really disappointed with the service here, I’ve been consistently more happy with my customer experience at Taco Bell than here.
I have been a server for many years, many of which were fine dining. The service we got was comparable to service from a diner. If I were the manager this would be unacceptable. We were hoping to make Ruth Chris a new tradition for the holiday. We have changed our minds from this experience.
Then our food came. All the dirty silverware and dishes from appetizers still on the table. Her "helper" quickly cleared everything while serving the food. Finally we had our food and dirty plates gone, but no silverware to eat the food. We waited a few minutes with the food sitting there for our silverware. What a disaster! STRIKE THREE.
Next my 8 year old daughter ordered a acorn squash bisque to start. It came and was not hot, extremely oily, and spicy. When the waitress finally came back I mentioned it to her. She said yes it is spicy, it should say that on the menu. (Maybe she should have told us, especially since it was for a child). Further she should have offered her something in its place considering only one bite was taken. STRIKE TWO.
Totally over priced. Side dish is a separate order. Medium rare, come out to be rare. Not worth it.
The food was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection. It was great!! Too bad the horrible service made this rating so low. Not only was our server bad, she was rude, unfriendly, and made us feel rushed. On such a special night it was a huge disappointment.
Update 5/23/16- clearly reservations still don't apply to Ruth Chris, waited 30+ minutes past initial reservation. Been here about 10 times and they've almost never sat us on time
Wow! First experience was amazing! All of the food, the service, and the experience. So much more than just a steak house.

I will start by saying the food was amazing. We went on Xmas eve. The problem was the service. Our waitress was one of the worst I've ever had. I ordered a bottle of wine. She told me they are probably out of it, since they were out last week. She proceeded to recommend a different one. I told her we needed a minute to decide. When she came back I asked if she could just check if they had the wine in stock. She came back saying in fact they did. STRIKE ONE.
slow service, took them 50 minutes past when we made reservations to actually get us a table. Foods wicked good though.
